This here site is strictly profesh when it comes to the music, so in that way that this song isn't about what is, this post isn't a notice about a twisted-out rock show that's going down at the Delancey tonight. And so with a nod to the Doc, here's the batting order for tonight's gig. Kicking off the evening will be stone cold electricksters My Best Fiend (keep a watch for their new batch of songs due out in October, they're seriously solid), who will be followed by the peppermint grooves of the most recent graduates of the Brown/Squire School of E Rock, Soft. The clean up (but not cleaned up yar har) act will be Simple Mission hermanos Vietnam. They're telling me they just got back from recording their next LP at some "mansion studio" in LA, so expect to see NYC's favorite beardos return to the stage with focus, poise and some lean, mean and green rock tunes.
